It is a matter of great pleasure that you have chosen Markanda National College, Shahabad Markanda as the campus for your acedemic pursuits and co-curricular activities for the next few years. As you come out of the school, you find yourself in a very different environment, both socially and acedemically. A college is a place for the independent growth and development of a young mind and body, and our college situated in a semi -urban area has a scenic beauty, lush green lawns, which give soothing effect to everybody.

The students as a body as well as individuals enthusiastically and assiduously participate in the curricular, co-curricular and extra-curicullar activities and innovative programmes.They enter college with a mission and carry it out with determination during their stay. Each new batch of students tries to do better than its predecessors in every respect. The results of the college are very good and the college, therefore, enjoys a very good reputation amongst the institutions of higher learning in the region.

Let me assure you that we, at Markanda National College, shahabad Markanda are committed with all our resources-academic, literary, sports, administrative and financial-to the overall growth of students’ personality with numerous opportunities for all. It is up to you how to make use of these opportunities. In the college life, we would like the learners to utilize the resources available for the growth of their personalities.
