TEACHERS USE ICT ENABLED TOOLS FOR EFFECTIVE TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESS
Communicative tools are essential for teaching to overcome barriers of monotonous system of walk and chalk method. Information and communication tools are imperative in today’s scenario in enhancing the quality of education. College uses ICT tools to encourage and augment the dissemination of education. The faculty members are opting for hybrid mode of teaching and learning in the college. The following tools are used in the College:

ICT Tools:
1. Projectors- 3 projectors are available in college.
2. Internet Surfing stations/ Computer Systems- campus is equipped with 40 computers at computer labs, physics lab and Library.
3. Printers and Scanners- Multifunction printers are available at all prominent places.
4. Seminar Rooms- Two seminar halls are equipped with digital facilities.
5. Smart Board- One smart board is installed in the campus.
6. Auditorium- It is equipped with mics, speakers and projector.
7. Online Classes through Google Meet and Google Classroom.
8. Digital Library resources (NLIST and Online Resources)

Use of ICT By Faculty Members in Teaching and Learning:

  1. PowerPoint presentations- The faculty members are using power point presentations with the help of projectors. Audio, Video and interactive texts are used for delivering the content.
  2. Invited Talks/Lectures- Seminar hall is digitally equipped where guest lectures, expert talks and various competitions are regularly organized for students.
  3. Online quiz- Faculty use GOOGLE FORMS to create online quizzes for students and also conducted various competitions.
  4. Online Video Lectures/Talks- Students participate in the College’s online video meetings for lectures and webinars.
  5. Online competitions- Various events such as Quizzes, Poster making, Ad-mad show, Poetry etc. are being organized with the help of ICT Tools.
  6. Faculty Development- Teachers have undergone faculty development programmes – Induction/Orientation, Refresher, MOOC’s, Workshops and Short Term Courses etc. with the help of ICT.
  7. E-Content Development Centre- The college has established an e-content development centre. Faculty are sharing recorded lectures with the students to enrich their learning experience.
